Job Title: Product Specialist

A Product Specialist plays a crucial role in orthopaedic surgery, working with cutting-edge robotic technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during Mako-assisted procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize the use of the Mako robotic platform.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation for surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain expertise in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Offer ongoing training and support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel to multiple hospital sites across Sydney and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
  • Strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, or operating theatre nursing/registered nursing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with surgeons and hospital teams.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
