Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Mako technology.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, permanent position based in Albury/Wodonga.
  • You will be the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
Requirements
  • A strong clinical background in orthopaedics or a related field.
  • Experience working in an operating theatre environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
