As a key clinical partner, you will play a critical role in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.
This full-time position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the operating theatre. As the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, you will provide real-time support during procedures and work closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.
About the Role- Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
- Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
- Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
- Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
- Strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation.
- Confident in surgical theatre settings.
- Technically savvy with software and medical technology.
- Excellent communicator who can build trust with surgeons and hospital teams.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
