As a key member of our team, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Joint Replacement department as a Robotic Product Specialist.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mackay. We would also offer a relocation package for someone open to moving; candidates must have full working rights in Australia or New Zealand.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using the Mako system. This requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced operating theatre environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
