Job Title: Piping and Pneumatics Business Development Professional
">We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to drive sales growth of our piping system for supply and installation in Queensland, with current and new customers, through direct and indirect channels.
">- The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales of our piping system for supply and installation in Queensland, with current and new customers, through direct and indirect channels.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Grow sales of our piping system for supply and installation in Queensland, with current and new customers, through direct and indirect channels.
- Ensure installations and supply meet customer satisfaction, design and on schedule as quoted.
- Liaise with customers and internal staff to provide turnkey solutions.
- Develop sales strategies and improve product turnover for the state.
- Achieve budgeted sales figures.
- Process new sales leads including preparing and sending quotes and follow-up.
- Quoting and presenting tender opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sale with clients – payment terms, freight and sales contracts.
- Develop the yearly strategic plan for the territory.
- Present sales results and opportunities to Management during sales consultations and conferences.
- Travel as required to customer sites within QLD.
- Motivate, train and mentor new and existing distributors.
- Provide product training to new and existing customers.
- Maintain and update own CRM pipeline.
- Support the internal sales and warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched on time and stock is managed and maintained.
Requirements:
">- Proven sales experience with mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical processes.
- Compressed Air sales experience preferred.
- Piping installation/project managing experience preferred.
- Pneumatic experience beneficial but not essential.
- A strong understanding of current business and ability to identify new businesses and opportunities.
- Ability to work within distributorship market comprising engineering and manufacturing OEMs an advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills at all levels of business.
- Strong interpersonal skills, willingness to learn, show initiative and work hard, with high commitment, self-responsibility and customer orientation.
- Strong focus on solution sales and consultative sales approach.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of small team.
