We are committed to driving the transition to a low-carbon future and are seeking a talented Principal Structural Designer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.

About the Role

As a Principal Structural Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile onshore and offshore projects, designing various structures and managing the workload distribution, training, and troubleshooting of the design team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Structural modeling, drafting, and preparing engineering drawings for high-profile projects.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Utilizing advanced engineering software and methodologies for structural designs.
  • Leading, supporting, and supervising the work of less experienced members.
  • Managing communication with different stakeholders and escalating potential bottlenecks.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced structural design professional with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Key requirements include:

  • Extensive experience in structural design, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with AVEVA PDMS and E3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Preferred software experience: Tekla, S3D, MicroStation.
