About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our communication and marketing efforts. This role will involve collaborating with our team to develop and implement marketing strategies, design campaigns, and engage with stakeholders to grow our brand value.

This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD, with travel required to support operational goals. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in developing marketing campaigns, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging stakeholders to build and develop strategies that grow our company brand value and demand for services
  • Designing and developing marketing collateral to showcase our technology and services
  • Developing, maintaining, promoting, and updating quality content and information on social media and digital platforms
  • Writing, editing, and producing information and materials for advertising and communications campaigns
  • Coordinating, preparing, and distributing articles and information for company newsletters, industry journals, and publications
  • Developing and maintaining the client relationship management database
  • Preparing and delivering quality marketing and communication material to clients
  • Developing and maintaining strong networks and relationships with industry stakeholders

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing and/or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in agriculture, sustainability, or science
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies and campaigns that align with our goals
  • Experience gathering, interpreting, and converting complex information to promote products, services, and research results effectively
  • Extensive experience using exceptional communication skills to edit and produce content to a high standard
  • Experience using relevant platforms, including social and digital media, to reach and engage target audiences
  • Able to consult effectively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Able to manage time and competing priorities effectively, using strong project management and organisational skills
