Research Specialist in Sustainable Forest Development

Responsibilities

- Supervise and contribute to teaching research students primarily at the undergraduate level, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements
- A PhD in forest ecology or a related field, with strong GIS and remote sensing skills, and experience designing and implementing field-based research programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in GIS, remote sensing, or participatory mapping, with a track record of publishing research in relevant areas commensurate with experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and foster collaborative partnerships.
