Research Fellow in Sustainable Forestry

Responsibilities
- Lead Field Research: Plan and execute field-based surveys to gather comprehensive data on forest structure, composition, fauna diversity, and other relevant metrics.
- Analyze and Report: Process and analyze field data, contribute to high-impact publications, and present findings at conferences and workshops.
- Collaborate and Engage: Work closely with industry partners, participate in project meetings, and contribute to research proposals.
- Support Education: Assist in supervising and mentoring research students at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- PhD in Forest Ecology or Related Discipline: A PhD in forest ecology or a related field is essential, along with strong field research skills, data analysis expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Expertise in Data Analysis and Reporting: Demonstrated expertise in statistical data analysis and reporting, as well as experience in designing and implementing field-based research programs.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
