Strategic Service Leader
About the RoleThe Strategic Service Leader will oversee a unit comprising two teams: Crisis and Bed-Based Reform Team, and Core Functions and Community Services Team.
The Director will play a key leadership role in programmatic design and planning for establishment of age-based service streams for adult and older adult.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and planning of service streams prior to transitioning them to systems management branch or other relevant areas.
- Build effective links across teams in the unit, branch, and division to ensure service system design supports implementation of key reforms and future system design.
- Develop strong relationships with sector partners, other Department of Health Divisions, and Victorian Government departments.
- Demonstrated understanding of system planning and health system design requirements and processes.
- Thinks and acts with long-term perspective ensuring plans and outcomes contribute to cross-departmental and government priorities.
- Builds and coaches team members to uplift strategic skills and grow workforce strategy capability.
