Job Description:- Assist in the collection, analysis and interpretation of geotechnical data to support mining activities.
- Conduct underground and open-pit field work tasks such as core logging, sample collection and preparation.
- Develop an understanding of procedures related to ground stability, monitoring and mine infrastructure.
- Work under the guidance of senior geotechnical engineers to develop an understanding of procedures related to ground stability, ground monitoring/control, and mine infrastructure.
- Collect and analyze geotechnical data for ground support and stope design criteria.
- Document rock mass behavior and quality control measures.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Science with a Geotechnical specialisation.
- Minimum 1 year experience in both underground and open-pit projects.
- Understanding of Western Australian Mining Act and Regulations, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
You will gain valuable experience working on a range of geotechnical projects and have opportunities for professional development.
