  • As a STEM coach, you will be working with a young girl in years 8 or 9 to explore her potential in STEM studies and careers.
  • She will participate in an eight-month program that includes camps with guest lectures, interactive sessions, practicals, field trips, and mentoring.
  • The program is designed to increase her confidence, stimulate her curiosity, inspire her enthusiasm, and motivate her interest in STEM studies and careers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must have successful, proven interest in STEM activities.
  • You should have the desire and capability to work with young people, particularly high school students.
  • You need to have an understanding of and agreement to coach responsibilities.
  • You are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or state equivalent.
  • You should have the ability to commit to time requirements.
  • You must be based in Australia during the program.
