As a support worker, you will be part of a supportive team that helps residents with daily routines, personal care, and life goals. Your tasks may include assisting with daily living activities, providing personal care, and supporting residents in accessing community services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and household organization
  • Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, and hygiene support
  • Assist with medication administration according to care plans
  • Support residents in accessing community services for shopping, appointments, and recreational activities
  • Encourage independence through skill-building and practical guidance
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and report changes in needs or behavior

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working With Children Check
  • Experience in SIL or residential care is highly regarded
  • PEG feeding and bowel care experience is desirable
