Job Title: Independent Living Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Independent Living Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disability by providing support and assistance to enable them to live independently.

The Role:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disability in their own homes and communities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication management, and transportation.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Work collaboratively with other service providers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support is provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working with people with disability, preferably in a supported independent living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • NDIS Worker Check and National Police Check clearance.
  • Current first aid certificate and up-to-date Covid vaccinations.
