About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Leader to join our team at Uniting Limited. As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of high-quality early learning programs for children.

Located in the heart of Hobart, our service is rated Exceeding by the National Quality Standard (NQS) and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a passionate team of educators who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to children.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) and a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks. You will also bring with you:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of educators and implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and emerging skills and interests of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, children, and other stakeholders.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations, with the ability to maintain records of development and continuously reflect and improve children's learning.

In addition to a competitive hourly rate and superannuation, you will also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. You will also have access to 10 weeks of paid parental leave and a 60% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
