About the Role

CatholicCare Tasmania's Early Learning and Care Programs are seeking a passionate and energetic part-time Lead Educator to join our team in Southern Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and lead a positive and enriching environment to support and engage school-aged children in OHSC and vacation care.
  • Lead and guide a team to run an engaging program.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents.
Requirements
  • Passion for the Early Childhood Industry and enthusiasm for supporting children's development.
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Proven experience working in a similar lead educator role.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate or the ability to acquire this promptly.
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
  • National Police Check.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Focus on Health & Safety requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret Policies and Procedures.
