We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team at Spawnpoint Media, a leading media production company specializing in gaming and Minecraft content.
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing short-form vertical videos that captivate our audience and keep them hooked. You will work closely with our team to develop content that is relevant and up-to-date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of what keeps our audience engaged and intrigued, and use this knowledge to create content that resonates with them.
- Mimic existing editing styles, such as those in our Eystreem/Firelight content, to maintain consistency and quality.
- Apply a creative outlook to your work, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the Minecraft community and social media.
- Utilize music, sound effects, and visual effects effectively to enhance the overall viewing experience.
- Work closely with our team to ensure that all content meets our high standards and is delivered on time.
- At least 2+ years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Experience with YouTube Analytics and key metrics, such as AVD, CTR, and Impressions.
- Proficiency in using sound effects and visual effects in video editing software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Premiere Pro and other video editing software.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of Minecraft, social media, and pop culture trends.
