About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Minecraft Animator to join our team at Spawnpoint Media. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for bringing our storyboards and scripts to life using McHorse's Blockbuster and Aperture mods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animate in the 'Vanilla' style, using custom camera paths and first-person perspective to create engaging and immersive content.
  • Develop and implement creative animation techniques to enhance viewer engagement, including the use of 'meme' elements and stylized, cartoon animation styles.
  • Analyze key YouTube metrics and analytics to identify successful content elements and areas for improvement.
  • Take initiative to improve scripts and instructions, adding additional background elements and 'Easter Eggs' to enhance engagement.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of vanilla and modded Minecraft, including McHorse's Blockbuster and Aperture Mod.
  • Experience with creating and animating custom models, facial expressions, and rigs in Blockbuster.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and understand feedback to act on it.
  • Preferred additional skills include experience with Replay Mod, NPC mods, and machinima filmmaking.
