Are you and your dog looking for ways to make a positive impact in your community? We're seeking dog owners like you to visit our residential aged care site with their furry friends.

As a social visitor, you'll guide your dog around the cottage, greeting residents and engaging in conversations. This rewarding experience can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation for those we care for.

To be eligible, your dog should be calm, patient, and gentle in nature. They must also be up-to-date with vaccinations, treatment of worms and fleas, and have short and blunt nails.

We ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times during visits. With your support, we can bring joy and companionship to our residents.

Requirements:

  • Arrange for a National Volunteer Police Check, which will be paid for by HammondCare
