Companionship Opportunities

Providing social interaction for older people in residential care homes can be a highly rewarding experience. By offering companionship, you can help improve the quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.

Our volunteer program focuses on sharing skills and interests with others, whether it's sports, art, pets, gardening, or simply spending time together. Regular visits from volunteers can have a significant impact on residents' well-being.

To ensure a suitable visit schedule, we would be happy to discuss your availability during the week, with visits taking place between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. You can choose to visit weekly or fortnightly, depending on your preference.

As a valued volunteer, you will also gain access to NDIS screening and National Volunteer Police Check, arranged and paid for by us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and social interaction for residents
