Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage ICT-related procurements in accordance with government frameworks.

This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with the possibility of extension, located at our office with hybrid working arrangements. As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing ICT-related procurements using best practices and sound judgment.
  • Conducting procurement activities, identifying, managing, and mitigating procurement risks to meet organisational obligations and optimise business outcomes.
  • Providing high-level advice on procurement-related matters across the Information Services Division.
  • Working flexibly and applying critical thinking within a team experiencing change.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Government procurement.
  • Sound knowledge and application of procurement frameworks including PGPA Act and CPR.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end ICT procurement processes including software renewals and ICT labour hire.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Effective record management and shared mailbox handling.
Benefits

Candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
