We are seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. As a valued member of our dynamic clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to our residents.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience in residential aged care and hold a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (RN) with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They will possess sound clinical knowledge and skills in accordance with contemporary practice and working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practices.

About the Role:

As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for planning, allocating, and delegating duties to facilitate the delivery of care according to documented policies and procedures. You will contribute to effective administration of human, material, and fiscal resource management according to budgetary requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Supervise and support registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and personal carers to ensure a resident-centric approach and high level of customer service
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve best practice clinical standards and drive quality improvement initiatives
