About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled people manager with strong leadership and decision-making abilities to join our dynamic and professional team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for engaging in case mix analysis, education, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical documentation improvement efforts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the timely extraction and submission of mandatory data reports, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Contribute to the development and management of form rationalisation and the digitisation of medical records for streamlined operations.
- Participate in audits as required to uphold standards and best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical coding to maintain high-quality data integrity.
You Will Be Successful If:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Information Management (or equivalent qualification).
- You are eligible for membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
- You possess proven leadership abilities with a track record of inspiring and driving team success to achieve outstanding performance.
- You have extensive experience in clinical coding, with a deep knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS standards.
- You are an expert in using Codefinder and Turbocoder to ensure precise and efficient coding practices.
- You demonstrate proficiency in extracting and submitting data to external entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
