Technical Program Lead

About the Role

The Technical Program Lead will oversee the successful delivery of complex ICT and data projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality. This involves managing risk, quality, and progress in alignment with organisational standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive the delivery of complex ICT and data projects – ensuring they land on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and collaborate across NSW Health, Pillars, and external partners.
  • Manage risk, quality, and scope with a focus on embedding data governance and security standards.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders through clear communication, issue resolution, and trusted advice.
  • Champion continuous improvement by refining processes, unlocking value, and delivering benefits faster.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing medium to large and/or complex technical Data and Analytics projects in a large service organisation.
  • Strong technical background delivering data integration, analytics, and reporting projects on cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of data architecture, governance, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, reporting, risk management, and budget management.
