Senior Director, People and Culture

The Senior Director, People and Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading NAIF's People and Culture strategy and Work Health and Safety initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will collaborate with senior executives to align HR policies with organisational goals, ensuring NAIF attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a forward-thinking people and culture strategy in line with NAIF's overall business objectives.
- Lead P&C operations including WHS, talent acquisition, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and collaborate with the People and Remuneration Committee to influence HR and safety policy.
- Design and implement workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure NAIF is prepared for future challenges.
- Drive development in WHS understanding, ensuring reporting, compliance and a strong safety culture.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment that embodies NAIF's mission and values.
You are a strategic, people-focused leader with a passion for driving organisational growth through innovative HR and safety initiatives. You will have:
- Extensive experience in senior HR roles, leading generalist HR strategies and initiatives.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation and WHS compliance, with a track record of successful implementation.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or significant experience in HR management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR databases and systems.
