Senior Training and Development Manager

Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Training and Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of impactful training across our network of parks and head office.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in training design, development, and delivery, as well as experience in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS). They will be responsible for developing SCORM-compliant e-learning content, creating structured onboarding and role-specific learning pathways, and building and maintaining a training matrix across all locations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing the skills and capabilities of our staff and who can create engaging and interactive training experiences. If you have a strong background in adult education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, we would love to hear from you.

  • Design and deliver practical, job-ready training for park and head office staff
  • Develop SCORM e-learning content and manage our LMS
  • Create structured onboarding and role-specific learning pathways
  • Build and maintain a training matrix across all locations
  • Coach park and head office leaders on managing people and projects
  • Support the rollout of new systems and business processes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in training design and delivery
  • LMS experience (eTrainu, Moodle, Tanda HR or similar)
  • SCORM content creation skills
  • Confident and engaging facilitation and coaching style
  • Hospitality, tourism, or service industry experience
  • TAE40116 or Six Sigma qualifications (desirable)
