Indigenous Smoking Prevention Specialist

About the Role
Our organisation is seeking a TIS Program Officer to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of collaborative activities regarding Indigenous smoking.
The TIS team will take a multi-level population health and whole-of-region approach to tobacco control, targeting all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This involves community education via events, media messages (including social and online), small group sessions, and referral pathways to specialist Tobacco Cessation Services for one-on-one support.
You will work closely with other teams to develop strategies, address key challenges, facilitate data collection, undertake performance reporting and participate in national and state workshops and training.
