About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Tobacco Prevention Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce smoking rates among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

You will work closely with our team to deliver culturally responsive programs and services, using your creativity and skills to promote health equity and Indigenous-led healthcare solutions.

  • Develop and implement tobacco prevention programs in collaboration with community leaders and organizations.
  • Collaborate with the National Best Practice Unit to develop strategies and address key challenges related to tobacco control.
  • Promote smoke-free environments through social marketing campaigns and events.
