Indigenous Inclusion Specialist

This role plays a critical part in creating culturally safe spaces and fostering meaningful employment pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The incumbent will lead initiatives that support Indigenous inclusion and capability across the organization, working closely with teams to connect with Traditional Owners and local communities.

Your Role and Impact
  • Create and implement programs that attract, retain, and develop Indigenous talent.
  • Foster training and embed Indigenous perspectives into policies and practices.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal teams and leaders to embed inclusion into everyday operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions that drive real impact in Indigenous inclusion, capability building, or employee engagement.
  • BUILD strong connections to Indigenous communities, cultural knowledge, or lived experience to inform approach and build trust.
  • PARTNER with internal teams to achieve business objectives and foster respect.
  • Foster opportunities for Indigenous employees to grow into leadership roles.
  • Monitor outcomes and ensure alignment with legal, cultural, and native title obligations.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing and delivering programs that drive real impact.
  • Strong connections to Indigenous communities, cultural knowledge, or lived experience.
  • Practical experience working in community engagement or inclusion-focused roles.
  • A strong ability to connect, build relationships, and foster respect.
