About the Company

Ivory Group, a reputable Local Council, is seeking an ambitious Development Assessment Planner to join their collaborative team environment. This role will play a key part in making meaningful contributions to community development.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Coordinator and be responsible for assessing development applications, coordinating Council reports for planning panels, and evaluating and reporting on fast track DAs.

  • Coordinating Council reports to planning panels
  • Assessing and reporting on fast track DAs
  • Duty Planning and site inspections
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban/Town Planning or related field
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Understanding of NSW Planning Legislation/controls
  • Previous experience working for a Local Council is preferred
