Job Description

We are seeking an experienced metallurgist to join our team and drive metallurgical performance, innovation, and continuous improvement across our processing plant operations.

Based at our CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing metallurgical performance, leading and delivering metallurgical projects, and providing expert guidance to production teams.

As a metallurgist, you will conduct metallurgical accounting, data analysis, and performance reporting, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in base metals concentrators, preferably copper
  • Strong expertise in flotation and underground ore processing
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a practical, hands-on approach
  • Strong process control experience
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance
