Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Expertise Leader to oversee the coordination of mechanical service and maintenance work for our clients. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated supervisory experience, excellent planning skills, and technical advisory expertise with OEM equipment.


This role involves coordinating inspections, testing, and analysis on equipment proficiency, planned and unplanned maintenance, and repairs. The successful candidate must be able to read technical drawings and schematics.


The job requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Technical Expertise Leader will need to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.


This is a semi-hands-on role that involves leading local and international personnel in various locations. The candidate must be proactive, with the ability to build and develop relationships with a range of people.


The role also requires experience with customer interface and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a small dedicated team.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mechanical Fitter/Machinist or similar trade background
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation
  • Technical advisory experience with OEM equipment
  • Significant Hard Rock experience desirable
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
