About the Role

As a Senior Business Growth Specialist, you will play a crucial hands-on role in driving revenue growth through SMB Account Executive partnerships. You'll need to develop strong commercial relationships with small and medium-sized business owners, understanding their payments and financial services requirements and pitching a solution that exceeds their expectations.

  • You will build lasting connections with merchants by listening to their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • You will utilize creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and achieve quarterly goals.
  • You will hit the streets to meet business owners, conduct outreach, pitch and win deals, and implement Zeller's product in their business.

This position requires self-motivation, independence, and a rare competitive fire. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative work style, and strong presentation skills. Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM tools and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Zeller's solutions to SMEs through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, referrals, and other methods.
  • Build a deep understanding of business owners' pain points and develop targeted sales strategies to address them.
  • Manage a lead and deal pipeline with outstanding attention to detail and hygiene standards.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including planning, qualifying, due diligence, and closing new deals.
  • Deliver exceptional value to merchants through storytelling, case studies, and pitch decks.
  • Develop commercially sound deals across various customer use cases, verticals, and complex economics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market insights.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in BDR/SBDR or junior/SMB sales positions, with a proven track record of achieving quarterly targets.
  • A genuine curiosity and passion for people and their businesses, enabling you to inspire and share their stories.
  • A strong commercial mindset and demonstrated ability to successfully manage and grow revenue.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or scale-up B2B sales is highly valued.
