Drive Sales Performance and Lead a Team

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned customer portfolio/segment (up to ~400 accounts or part thereof) via regular remote contact (voice, chat, text, and email) building, negotiating, and executing customer business plans.
  • Motivate and lead a team of two Inside Sales Associates (ISA) as per the essential functions and role objectives.
  • Execute business plans and drive achievement of sales targets for assigned customers over the phone and virtually by utilizing remote sales applications.
  • Research, review, and evaluate customer information to identify value/potential aligning with country strategy.
  • Execute contact plans with a consultative selling approach.
  • Develop and apply understanding of customer organization and networks to reach key decision makers and influencers to drive optimal contact method and content.
  • Adapt and optimize approach and communications style during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needs.
  • Deploy and use approved marketing and sales promotional materials and programs.
  • Use expert knowledge of Alcon and competitor products' features to support sound clinical and business discussions.
  • Engage in contract renewals, as needed.
  • Generate leads on "Marlö" for Digital team.
  • Record activities in the CRM system according to instructions.
  • Maintain, review, and action performance data to drive performance.
  • Work within Integrity and Compliance policies and all other company policies.
  • Lead ISAs and provide direction to carry out tasks and achieve KPIs.
  • Provide guidance and prioritization for the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business/Marketing preferred).
  • 1-year sales experience (by telephone).
  • Proven target-driven sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Multi-channel selling experience.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate sensitivity and awareness to other people.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-starter, team player, results-oriented.
  • Adaptable/flexible.
  • Customer focus.
  • Ability to read sales data and interpret trends.
