We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to partner with a well-established and highly respected organisation. This role involves end-to-end payroll processing, process improvements, and being a key point of contact for payroll-related queries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process end-to-end payroll for a large, multi-site workforce.
- Interpret awards, employment agreements, and relevant legislation to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Support junior payroll team members and share knowledge across the team to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on reporting, audits, and system updates to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll delivery and increase productivity.
- Has solid experience in end-to-end payroll, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Possesses strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax regulations.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve complex payroll issues.
- Is confident using payroll systems, such as Aurion, SAP, Chris21, or similar software.
- A team player with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
