About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end monthly stock take program, setting up and managing periodic stock counts and audits, and ensuring system accuracy and reconciliation. Additionally, they will analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Monitoring and Control: Ensure adequate stock for business operations, accurately record inventory movements, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Stock Management: Manage the end-to-end monthly stock take program, set up and manage periodic stock counts and audits, and ensure system accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continual avenues of cost saving initiatives, implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency for upper management.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills, providing direction and support to ensure the team delivers warehouse KPIs.
  • Previous experience in inventory management with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities, experience using ERPs with SAP advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
