Job Title: Master Payments Strategist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of innovative payment solutions.

  • Define target state architecture and roadmaps for a leading payments provider.
  • Develop comprehensive solution designs for card issuing, acquiring, switching, and merchant services.
  • Provide technical leadership across real-time payments, eCommerce, and omni-channel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess feasibility.
  • Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions with scheme and security compliance.
  • Design event-driven, microservices, and cloud-native solutions (Azure/AWS).
  • Ensure high-performance, scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.
  • Mentor junior professionals and contribute to governance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in solution architecture within payments and banking.
  • Proven experience with similar switching platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of card scheme operations, tokenization, 3D Secure, and digital wallets.
  • Expertise in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, and SWIFT protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, containerization, and integration tools (Web Services, MQ).
  • Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and eCommerce gateways (e.g., Cybersource, MPGS).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
