Job Title: Inventory Manager

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to manage a finished goods portfolio, coordinate national inventory planning activities, and create Master Data related to products and suppliers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the national inventory planning activities of their nominated product portfolio. They will also create and manage Master Data related to products and suppliers.

This role involves reporting on portfolio performance, variance forecasts, and inventory stock targets. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills and experience with MS Excel.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory, slow-moving stock, quarantined items, and obsolete stock. Shipping plans and forward purchase orders will be prepared and maintained.

Accurate and up-to-date product and supplier data must be maintained at all times. The candidate will also provide assistance and support to key stakeholders as required.

Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse is essential for this role.

  • Proven experience in an end-to-end Inventory Analyst role where you have been responsible for the planning, forecasting, and purchasing.
  • Strong organisational skills managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of international shipping and inventory management.
  • A highly analytical mindset with a result-oriented focus.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics and/or business-related discipline preferred.
