
Director of Governance and Compliance

This role requires a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and compliance policies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex projects, fostering innovation and accountability, and promoting a culture of transparency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing governance and risk management frameworks that address current and emerging requirements
- Managing and reporting on strategic risks through regular workshops and ensuring alignment with divisional frameworks
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Fostering a culture of transparency and accountability through training and awareness programs
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Proven experience leading corporate governance functions and providing strategic advice in complex environments
- Deep understanding of statutory compliance obligations, including policy frameworks and declarations of interest
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic projects and reporting cycles, including annual reports and enterprise risk workshops
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to clarify and influence broad issues across all levels of the organisation
