Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework, partnering with the business to ensure that current and emerging risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and monitored.
- Manage the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework and prepare appropriate reports on risk and compliance performance.
- Provide analysis of thematic risk and compliance issues arising from control self-assessment results, compliance incidents, breaches, risk incidents, and operational losses, escalating to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the business with the development, execution, and monitoring of remedial activity for operational loss, compliance incidents.
- Facilitate workshops, provide advisory, and guide management on risk and compliance matters. Develop an action plan to address emerging business compliance risks in accordance with the current Risk Management Framework.
- Experience in an analyst, audit, or risk and compliance role for a complex, matrixed general insurance, or financial services organisation.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends, and links that inform judgements and solutions.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks, and manage competing resources and demands.
- Understands customer insights, feedback, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline preferred, demonstrating technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
