About Our Opportunity
Green Leaves Early Learning is committed to supporting the professional development and practice of our Early Childhood Teachers with the appointment of a dedicated mentor to co-research, create, and develop innovative learning and teaching practices.
Our mentors and Early Childhood Teachers are provided regular opportunities to collaborate with our National Learning Research and Development Partner (NLRDP) – Dr Karen Grubb, through face-to-face and online mentoring; access to weekly articles and examples of practice shared by the services on the Storypark platform; networking with other Early Childhood Teachers across our organisation; and participation in practical professional development opportunities that extend their pedagogical and educational understandings.
About You
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard/Framework (NQS/NQF)
- Plan and implement a comprehensive transition to school/school-readiness program for our Kindergarten children
- Responsible for managing your classroom and mentoring educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
- Team player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects critically upon best practice
Qualifications
- Hold an ACECQA-approved teaching qualification
- SA Teacher's Registration
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Child Protection Training
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one

Our Centre
Green Leaves Early Learning Mawson Lakes is a two-storey early learning centre with an eco-conscious design, offering care for children from 6 weeks to school age.
As you enter our beautiful centre, you'll find our state-of-the-art Chef's kitchen and parent lounge, which are adjacent to two beautiful learning hubs that open out onto sensory gardens. The four remaining learning hubs, including a kindergarten room, are on the first level and feature their own outdoor play space filled with modern sustainable resources such as the very popular bike track, large timber play fort, worm farm and edible flower and vegetable gardens.
The parent lounge, an innovative space, has been introduced to help create a strong sense of community, providing educators and families with the opportunity to come together in a beautiful environment and network while enjoying a barista coffee and a freshly baked treat.
