We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to oversee and manage regulatory compliance activities for a Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education (HE) institute.

**Key Responsibilities**:

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with a solutions-focused approach to ensuring that the institute maintains compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to education, student welfare, and operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing regulatory compliance activities across multiple departments
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Collaborating with senior management to identify areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies

**Requirements**:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Education, Law, or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in regulatory compliance management in a VET and/or HE institution
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to education, student welfare, and operations in Australia
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering training and awareness programs on regulatory compliance matters
