Located in Richmond, close to public transport and parking, this is a unique opportunity to work with one of Melbourne's leading providers of financial advice.
The RoleAs a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will report to the General Counsel and Directors. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
- Staying up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conducting internal audits and reviews across the organisation to identify compliance and risk.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Investigating and addressing potential compliance concerns.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports as required.
- Assisting in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Monitoring changes in laws and regulations and assessing their impact on the business.
- Executing internal training for staff.
- Supporting the Legal Team.
To be effective, you will require:
- Experience in Professional, Financial or Accounting services firms, with experience in compliance and risk management.
- A strong awareness of legislation and regulations and their impact on the business units.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
