Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to work on a casual basis across multiple kitchens within the Club. This exciting opportunity allows you to develop your skills in a supportive and modern team built on teamwork, empowerment of others, and transparency.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the core values of Trust & Integrity, Respect & Diversity, Exceptional Experiences, Continuous Improvement, and Community.
  • Cook all meals in accordance with food and service standards.
  • Perform food preparation tasks and check the quality/presentation of orders to ensure food is cooked consistently and properly.
  • Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of meals.
  • Promote a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (essential).
  • Relevant qualifications.
  • A sound knowledge of food safety.
  • Experience working with and implementing HACCP procedures.
  • Excellent level of cooking ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • You must be able to work a varied roster.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to provide an effective approach to Customer Service delivery.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution techniques.
  • Integrity and honesty.
