We are seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic team at Bankstown Sports Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, developing your culinary skills and contributing to the success of our kitchen brigade.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality dishes, with a strong attention to detail and excellent cooking abilities. Previous experience in restaurant and/or café service is essential, and we are looking for a creative and experienced chef to join our team.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for planning and preparing meals, ensuring that food is cooked consistently and properly, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

- Cook all meals in accordance with food and service standards
- Perform food preparation tasks and check quality/presentation of orders to ensure food is cooked consistently and properly
- Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time
- Maintain a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (essential)
- Relevant qualifications
- A sound knowledge of food safety
- Experience working with and implementing HACCP procedures
- Excellent level of cooking ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work a varied roster
