Job Summary

The Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial insights to the marketing team, driving informed decision-making and optimizing business outcomes.

This key position involves analyzing market share movements, developing comprehensive marketing spend budgets, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance brand performance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the marketing director to develop an analytical framework for the Australian alcoholic beverage market, identifying emerging trends and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • NPD commercialization and launch planning
  • Critical evaluation of market data and stakeholder inputs
  • Development of post-evaluation thresholds and performance metrics
  • Advanced data analysis and interrogation using SAP BI
  • Effective communication of insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial capacity, preferably in the liquor industry or FMCG
  • Degree in Commerce/Accounting/CPA
  • Proven ability to work across functions, analyze complex data, and develop tailored solutions
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and drive business growth
  • Expert-level Excel skills and proficiency in SAP BI
