Claims Support Specialist

As a Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounts payable support to our team.
The role requires someone able to oversee the implementation of early intervention for employees, including paperwork, treatment provider liaison, and site communication.
Daily duties include:
- General clerical assistance to our team
- Answering telephone enquiries
- Completing cheque/EFT process, including creation of new vendors and updating payment details in claims database
- Creating Purchase Orders in Navision accounts payable system
- Paying workers compensation claims invoices, including vendor maintenance and fielding accounts enquiries
- Processing workers compensation wages
- Claims database administration, including entry of medical certificates/claims documents, data coding, and claims registration
- Coordinating medical/travel bookings and liaising with third-party providers
- Managing shared electronic mailbox to distribute correspondence to claims managers
- General administration work as required, such as photocopying, filing, and minute taking
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in an administration/accounts payable role, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience in a workers compensation environment.
The ideal candidate will also possess strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work within a team.
