About Us
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role that requires timely service project completion, providing exceptional product support, and maximizing revenue in our service department.
The successful candidate will be required to travel within Victoria and interstate.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and servicing of customer and rental equipment, managing schedules and maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Provide over-the-phone troubleshooting assistance to customers.
- Coordinate and attend repair work at various job sites.
- Offer hands-on assistance and demonstrations for the sales team as needed.
- Manage the check-in/check-out process of rental equipment and prepare it for dispatch.
- Assist with warehouse operations and coordinate industrial equipment deliveries.
- Inspect returned rental equipment and complete job cards.
- Perform basic fabrication and repairs as required.
- Enter data into our system accurately as needed.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, preferably with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in using maintenance and repair tools.
- Strong analytical skills and effective troubleshooting ability.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- A valid Australian driver's license is essential.
- A fork lift license is highly desirable.
