We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales and Business Development Strategist to join our team at Euromonitor International. This is a critical role that will enable you to create and implement an effective sales strategy, expand your network with key companies in Australasia, and take ownership of your time and career growth potential.

About the Role

As a Sales and Business Development Strategist, you will be responsible for driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Your primary goal will be to identify new markets and customer needs, develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction, and build relationships with multiple decision makers within organizations.

You will also be expected to present a complete Euromonitor solution to client challenges, understand and maneuver within relevant syndicated systems, and take client feedback to syndicated and consulting leaders. Additionally, you will need to conduct effective demos, make connections with client needs and EMI services, and effectively qualify and close leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents a complete Euromonitor (EMI) solution to client challenges.
  • Understands and can maneuver within relevant syndicated systems.
  • Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Builds relationships, creates a deeper network inside organizations, and conducts effective demos.
Requirements

We are looking for a sales-orientated and driven person with at least 2 years' experience of selling in publishing, media, online information, or consulting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be autonomous, willing to learn, and determined to succeed. They should also have a creative and proactive approach to selling, excellent communication, presentation, and selling skills, with attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate strong rapport-building skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
