Job Overview:
- Manage facilities management in a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the designated portfolio.
- Develop sound working relationships with key client staff and manage day-to-day client activities for assigned property/facilities.
- Assist the National Facilities Manager Director to deliver services to Entities.
A Snapshot of the Role:
- Facilitate effective management of properties as designated by the National Facilities Manager.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain an environment that fosters teamwork, co-operation, and performance excellence within team.
- Engage stakeholders proactively to ensure client expectations are met on-site.
- Adhere to financial processes at all times.
- Exercise responsibility and duty of care to work safely, protecting own health and safety and that of fellow workers and visitors.
- Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Best Practice operations.
- Pursue development of strong understanding of various property management database systems.
- Complete, update, and maintain applicable web-based management information systems, including uploading various property documentation.
Requirements:
- Confident communication skills, ability to build and sustain stakeholder relationships and engage with various business lines and levels.
- Highly client-focused attitude, exceptional customer service ability.
- Hands-on approach to problem solving with ability to juggle competing deadlines and tasks within dynamic workplace.
- Familiarity with local OH&S and safety requirements, critical facilities, and vendor management for specialised services is required.
- Basic understanding of fundamental technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-Conditioning, Chiller Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Mechanical & Electrical Systems).
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory to comply with client's requirements.
